Thanks for the nice …
Thanks for the nice demo.
Also thanks for pointing out the similarity between Salsa and Nightclub Two Step. Indeed, both are quick quick slow. If they share some same moves, then we learn both at the same time!

that’s why they …
that’s why they used the more generic quick, quick, slow instead of a count in numbers. That will allow dancers to dance the steps to almost any music with the right tempo and a feeling of quick, quick, slow somewhere within the phrasing. In my opinion, there are very few rights & wrongs if you dance to the music which is playing.

The dancing is very …
The dancing is very good, but the explanation is wrong. Salsa (on-1 style) is danced quick quick slow, quick quick slow, which would be counted 123,456, but that is NOT the count for night club 2-step (NC). In NC, the music is going just half as fast relative to the dancing, so it is counted differently. When doing NC the original, Buddy Schwimmer way, it is counted 1&2,3&4,5&6,7&8. The country way of doing it is counted 1,2&3,4&5,6&7,8&, and you actually danced it the country way!
